Oh man, I realize this looks like a mess, but we were so hungry after running tonight. Rice noodles (they’re under there) topped with mixed veggies, steamed kale, tempeh, and homemade peanut sauce. My boyfriend makes awesome peanut sauce but he never measures anything. I tried to emulate and it came out close.
And speaking of running, I wore shorts out tonight for the first time this spring. This is a big deal. After losing 120 pounds, my thighs are, well, kind of saggy. I hate how they
look in shorts, and I definitely hate how they jiggle when I run. So I usually wear super long shorts or capri pants. But, since I’m also wearing compression sleeves and gloves, I get really overheated wearing so much clothing. So tonight, I said fuck it and put on my short shorts. If people stared at my jiggly thighs, I figure they were doing it because I look damn good.
I ran fast and I wasn’t overheated at the end. Success!
